Coyotes can be terminated with satisfactory finality with standard Colt SAA loads from either a (go figure...) a Colt SAA or a Uberti 1873, or a Rossi M92, all chambered in .45 Colt. Sorry about the lube question, I was'nt clear. The lube question is about reforming 38-55 to 32-40. Can't find any 32-40 at a price I'm willing to pay. So, how much are willing to pay? But, you'll put time AND money into forming the .38-55s? I don't get it. NOW, Hobie... there IS a $22/500 differen...

If ya want a load with a full case in the .45Colt... use BP. 3F for velocity, 2F for boom and smoke! Be conscientious with your loading and go to something like RedDot or Unique. 700X is another good .45 Colt powder. I used to have a recommendation from Accurate Powders for their 5744 in the .45Colt...

I use a muffin pan. Gives 2# lead muffins and they just fall out of the pan. Also, I always leave a little molten lead in the bottom of my melting pot. It seems to capture the heat better on the next melt than a bunch of ww's do and results in a faster melt. Great minds think alike. Or practical ex...

I got the idea that their role was to eliminate a rogue pachyderm, and from what I understand, even in most regular hunting cases, the hide, meat, etc. are left for the locals to consume.
