I'm a firm believer that there are more Tacoma's in these WV mountains than any other state. They are tough as nails and work great on these logging roads and old mining roads. I have owned nothing but 4x4's most of my life and this Tacoma's is the best one I have ever owned. Mike

Hope it's somrthing simple and easy to fix. Here is my 01 Tacoma and it runs like the day I got it and has 92,000 on it. The Tacoma is about all you see in these mountains. That would not bother me at all! One of the worse guns I ever owned back in the mid 60's. Replaced four ejectors and sold it after replacing the fourth one. Had to go to the Doctors early this morning and when I got back it was pouring down rain. Went out to my work shop and tore down my Win. 94 Trapper to nothing but receiver and barrel and sights. I even stripped down the trigger mechanism. As I mentioned in another thread on here I only shot about 24...

Hobie, That may be. I just remember people talking about a plug for the safety on the Win 94 and then I remember seeing one of them fixed with the shell casing end. Don't know why you couldn't fix either one that way unless I'm missing something else. Mike

My old Winchesters don't have the safety my newer one has but the new one also does not have the half cock safety either.
