I like it, especially when shooting fast. If the hood is on the target, the bead is in rough position-- just fine tune. When shooting SASS, I just put the hood on the target and fire--- its close enough. I very rarely will ever miss with the rifle. Can't say that for the pistols though :oops: That`...

I`ve never cared for one much but the one on my Guide gun is big and pretty thin so i can take it or leave it.

Can`t make a four strand on these machines, only have three hooks that spin the same speed.

That's pretty neat! A few questions if you don't mind, it looks like your twisting from both ends, are they in opposite directions? It looks like you can vary the thickness by the amount of strands of twine? and finally, is there a process to make longer lengths other then moving the motor end fart...

I have a small original roop making machine like this one that i built from half inch plate steel, the center gear is 12 inch. What`s the difference between the Rossi action and the Browning, my Rossie rifle will cycle my cast elmer Keith style bullets and the Browning won`t, too long.
