Thanks for the info. I have loaded 22.3 H110 behinf the 300 gr. XTP and it kicks like a mule. I estimated around 1300 fps and with that bullet weight is should stop anything at close range. I think the 250 gr. XTP behind 25.7 H110 should give me 1500 fps and better 100 yrd. MOA. Both combination sho...

Thank you... I have thought about the 6mm ppc and the 6mm BR. If I go with a 6mm I am thinking .243 because of rifle selection. I do not want to give an arm and a leg for this rifle and scope. I have had outstanding performance from Browning 30 06 with the BOSS. Sub MOA's using Seira 168 Matchking.

I do a fair amount of reloading for all the calibers I shoot. My question deals with picking a smaller caliber for bench rest 200yd ++ shooting. I am thinking 22 250 or 6mm of some type like .243. .243 Savage 12FV

Has anyone had any experence with a .243 Savage 12FV on the bench rest? I am looking at 200 yd. bench plinking. Presentently I am shooting 30.06 A-bolt with good results.
