Re: Gun show negotiations were to no effect in Dallas....

I haven't been to a Dallas Market Hall Gun Show in a while, but I guess it depends on what you want and how bad you want it. I think I got my discontinued Winchester 94 "youth" carbine in .357 magnum at that show a few years back. No, it wasn't a great deal, but it was fair, IMO. It's too ...

Re: FEAR PURCHASING....

OK, I'll admit I bought a DPMS collapsable stock AR-15 16" barrel on election day. That was FEAR. Later I bought a Ruger Ranch Rifle in 6.8...that was more "prudent", I think. Seeing how the "gun" issue is tilted in our favor, in retrospect, the purchaces were SLIGHTLY unwar...

Re: To shoot or not to shoot.

I'm awaiting a range report. I'll gladly pay you $500 for your gun. Just kidding...sort of...it's worth better than $2,000 you know. Of course, you know. So, how did it shoot? Yes, I would shoot it, but no, I would not shoot it. Sorry to the rest of you, but a Colt is something I would'nt give up in...

Re: Starting all over again

Figure out which guns you need in an "escape" situation, the ones you can't stand to get rid of...and sell the rest. Of course, you'd kick yourself for selling them later. Maybe you could formulate and detail your escape plan...how much it would cost, where would you go? How would you get ...

My point though was that even if this goes our way, we won't suddenly be able to get MG's by mail order. If we want to continue making headway we will still need to make a solid showing at the polls. Even if we have to hold our nose as we vote. I've been holding my nose for a while now. I don't lik...
