I have basically been on self imposed exile for awhile but I do have a question...DixieBoy was making a change about this time last year...has anyone heard how he is doing ? Did he ever get to Texas ? Just thought about him today...

I know many very fine people who have hunted and used firearms their entire life that just don't think hi-capacity magazines make any sense. Up until the late '70s I literally shot an old Newport 12 gauge SXS until the frame cracked....I reloaded spent hulls with a Lee Loader until I had to melt some wax on the crimp to keep the shot from falling out......it was my everything gun....now I don't shoot much anymore because of disability......

tr....was in a local pawn shop last week for my monthly tour and only saw one model 60.....it was very nice and had a Glenfield 4X 7/8" dia scope....probably came on the rifle.....it was marked $129.95....before the current world turned upside down firearm pricing it would have been marked $99....

The Rock Island Armory 1911s are well reviewed.....my son bought a Tactical a couple months back and I have got to say it is a great deal. The basics are still around under $400 if you look hard enough....at least in Tejas......
