There is a feller in Montana or Wyoming that sell all trapdoors....he had 2 H&R Officer Models the last time I visited with him....his company is Trapdoors Galore if I remember correctly........has some darn nice originals too...

Appreciate the advise.....all very good. We bid on a Handi Youth, .243/20 ga on Gun Broker and got it....plan on putting a low power (4X) scope on it and starting the learning process. Reminds me of teaching his dad (my son).....looking forward to the experience again. Down the road in about 3 years...

Since childhood I have had 4 Rat Terriers.....still have one...she is 14 1/2 years old and really slowing down. They have all been wonderful companions.
