OT -- Opening the Safe??

Post by Lobo »

Hi All,

So, when you've lost the key to your gun safe, how do you get it opened?

I'd call a locksmith. You're fortunate that you have a key for access. I have combination only. The locksmith would be drilling mine.

PS - I'll PM you the only other way I'd know how.

Call the safe company and get a new key. Many have the key code listed on the safe somewhere.
Kind regards,

"IF" U didn't put the pamphlet with instructions "in" the safe and "IF" U Wrote down the ser# like U were instructed to, U can call the Factory and get a new Key. At least that is what the instructions for My new Remington safe say. Otherwise U might have to PM kimwcook.

Already PM'd him, but haven't heard back. He's probably tearing his house apart.
