Here's mine, little 25' Salem 5th wheel with 2004 Ram 3500 4wd with Cummins diesel, at Buffalo Bill Reservoir outside of Cody, Wyoming.

Here's mine.

It's a 2003 30' Travel lite hooked to my 2006 double cab Tundra. Haven't actually pulled it yet. We bought it to live in while the house is being built, but we will tow it when all is done.

It weighs under 5700 dry, so it should be no issue for the Toy. I was moving it to prepare for the septic system to be put in, since the trailer was sitting right about where the engineer said the tank should be.

My brother in law, said he'd like to get a similar trailer and an F150 and the 4 of us take a road trip to AK in a couple years. I'm all for that one.

Darn near everywhere!

I no longer live in the AV. Forced into retirement (age 56 mandatory) and sold the house. Bought some land in Santa Margarita (10 mi N of San Luis Obispo) and in the process of getting a home built on it.

While the plans were at the county, the wife and I took a three week vacation. We hit Las Vegas, Zion Nat. Park, Salt Lake City, then to Jackson Hole Wy., than to Yellowstone Nat. Park, and then up to Mt Rushmore SD. We also took a long look at the Crazy Horse monument. On the way south we stopped of in Ft. Collins, then back to Las Vegas (we stayed in condo's in Vegas), and then back home. Had a blast.

My guns have been safed since Feb. :x , so I'll be glad when this is all over.

A pop-up cab-over on our Ford F150. From a company in Woodland, CA called Four-Wheel Camper. A little cramped now that I'm married and sharing it with the Mrs. but we've taken this on more fishing and hunting trips than I can count. This is a picture from our trip last fall at Blue Lakes campground near the crest of the Sierra near Kirkwood, CA. As I recall, we hit the local rainbow population pretty nicely that weekend.

Yes, almost all modern RV's of any size are wired for cable AND satellite hookups, and the cell phone will do nicely to order the pizza. Flush potty, microwave, hot and cold water, shower, refrigerator/freezer combo, 3 burner stove with oven, all are pretty much standard. Solar panels, etc are extra. I tell ya, ya gotta be tough out here in the West, pilgrim. :D

Here's mine but it's not portable, no water except rainwater we catch and we do have a radio for classic country. What else do you need? P.S. We do have electricity.

Old Savage, it's great in the spring and fall but not so good in the winter and summer. We do have a propane heater and wood stove, but in 3 digit temperatures it's a no go. Here a photo I took from in the barn out to the corral.

The hillbilly airstream started life as a 6X10 cargo trailer.

When I don't need the "house", I can camp with all the basics, taking along a tent, cooler, etc, and all my CAS gear with this rig:

We had a 33 foot Salem bunkhouse... but our late winter hailstorm ventilated it pretty good. Insurance totaled it and wrote a check for the difference.

I dont think I ever took a picture of the danged thing.

Ben, Its a 3 horse slant with a 7500 lb axle good mountain trailer for getting around tight spots and small trialheads. You know the USFS never make it wide enough for 1 let alone 2 vehicles  danny

I really like the hillbilly rig. Very ingenious!

What powers the fridge? Or is it just a cooler?

The fridge is a dometic LP gas/110 unit I took out, along with the sink, from a '76 Sunline camper I had until it rotted. The stove is 2 burner, out of a '70 econoline "Turtle top" camper I once had as a deer hunting rig. Water is gravity, with a 7 gallon jug on a shelf over the sink, and a matching one attached to the drain. Lights are LED units, so they draw next to nothing, and I have two roof vents, one with a fan. I used it for 5 days this past week, used less than one 20lb. grill bottle of LP, and only topped off the battery once, using the 12V side of a 1KW inverter type Yamaha generator I bring along for that purpose. Now get this, with the bed folded up and rear screen doors opened wide, I can roll my 1400CC motorcycle right in, tie it down with a steel floor chock that attaches with 4 bolts with knobs, and off we go, bike and all. AAMOF, I store the bike in the trailer in winter, so momma can get her car into the garage ;)
