Winchester 1892 in good company.

Post by rangerider7 »

I have put these items together in the last 20 years even though I have collected for 40 years. I decided to put them together for a photo. I thought some of y'all might want to see it. It is mostly made up of things from an old "Wild West Show".

Very nice, Rangerider! That would make a nice calendar photo.

Great picture. I like the way that handgun hangs in the holster.

Great picture, but what is the lever gun hiding around the corner?

7,

I've just got to add my compliments too. Some very nice articles, I like the 1892 especially. Nothing like the genuine stuff from the past to give you that warm, fuzzy feeling!!

Thanks guys. Meeteese, The lever around the corner is a Winchester 1894 half round, button mag, with an express sight in 30-30. My wife has gotten use to my displays but friends often say It looks like you live in a museum. :D

A museum isn't a bad thing, especially if it reflects an age and time where things were better than today. It gives me a fond memory of being on the family ranch back in the good ole' days. I guess reflecting on the past is something I enjoy, or perhaps it is just a sign of getting old(er). I do miss those simple days. Thanks for the picture.
