Guys,
Listen up, when I first log on; my computer defaults to MSN as my home page.
Ever since the nomination, every time I log on ; there is some negative story aboubt Gov. Palin, in the MSN home page.
Does this not strike you as odd?
Is she that scary?
How do I change my home page?
How do I let MSN know that I did it because of thier reprehensible behaviour?

I sure think she's ready and capable.

Palin has got people so pumped up around here! Plus her aunt lives in the small town 25 miles south of here. That would be pretty cool having the VP visit so close someday!

My thoughts anyway.

Well heck, I'm ready - of course she is - those other two aren't ready to be anything in charge.

I think she's done wonderful things for this election, and she's my kind of Westerner. But I still have doubts about her fitness for the vice presidency, frankly. If it were a matter of how much I like and admire someone, there would be no issue for me. Unfortunately, there's more to it than that. I hope she proves herself in the unscripted debate with Biden. I want to feel good about this vote on all levels.

The more the socialists attack Sarah Palin, the better I like her. I figure if they hate and fear her that much, she is bound to be my kind of folks.

If she is not ready, than by the same logic, Obama is certainly not anywhere near ready for the top spot (or even the VP spot). Taking your point to its logical conclusion, the only ticket you should vote for is McCain/Palin, since McCain is the most ready of the four.

I'll bet that she at least knows how to say "Ute". Sorry....just can't let it go! She'll do fine, if not much better than the competition.

Lets see, we have three senators running and one Governor.
Each senator has done nothing but introduce, vote for and get passed one unconstitutional law after another. Raised our taxes right and left, and pushed through gag laws that attempt to stifile our 1st Amendment rights prior to the elections.

Then we have one Governor who has actually held the head administrative office of not only a city, but an entire state that bigger than much of the lower 48 states. She's in charge of a National Guard that bigger than some countries armies.

Gentlemen ... Sarah Palin IS THE ONLY ONE OF THE FOUR that is qualified to be president of the United States.

And that's who I'm voting for. Palin / McCain.

If "ready" means that she acts like a traditional politician and looks busy but does nothing, then no she's not ready. She's not ready to be just another unnecessary politician. She IS ready to actually make a difference.

In November, I think we will find that the silent majority of Americans is "ready" for Palin!

When I answered yes, we were winning 66 to 32 with the rest undecided.

Call me naive, but I or any one of us could serve admirably as VP. I mean, come on, think about it.....anybody with an ounce of common sense, a little knowledge of history and who can read the Constitution is up to the task. If Sarah ain't ready, then nobody ever will be. The worst part for her will be having to move to DC.

I doubt that anyone could ever be ready for either president or vice president before serving. In my opionion , of the four running she is the LEAST UNREADY, then McCain. Then there is a long long way wherethere is nothing at all, and the the children playing in the sand.

There is a big, big step up in value between the lightweight Congressional experience and the Executive experience she's had. Frankly, I like her style and tone. I hope McCain don't drag her in the mud too much as she is prime presidential material after a bit of time in the forge.....

Yep - what you need is a person with 1) integrity, 2) intelligence, and 3) knowledge of the Constitutional role of the federal government.

If the idiot masses want someone with "experience" and that means serving in the beltway for awhile, then they will get the idiot-in-charge they deserve!

BTW - O'Creepbama has little "experience" other than the Chitcago political machine - as if that is a plus...

Go to the "tools" tab at the top of your browser's page. Open that up and click on the "internet options" and you will see a dialog box that show's your home page default - simple delte the nasty msn address and type in or paste the desired address.

It is sort of ironic that the question of Gov. Palin's qualifications would even be asked considering the Dems are running a junior Senator with no experience at anything. It is amazing that all these conversations are taking place over the pending VP and not the Presidential candidates. I have a great deal more confidence in a common sense, middle American attitude than I do of any Washington insider, especially the typical liberal eastern or west coast variety.

Many people didn't/don't like VP Dick Cheney, but growing up in Casper Wyoming about 4 blocks from his house and being in high school at the same time, I knew his values were closer to mine than any Washington insider. Mrs. Palin will do just fine as the VP and, IMO, she would serve well if, God forbid, John McCain couldn't finish his time in office.

The left is making a big deal of Palin being "one heartbeat away from the Presidency". Well, given their own comments - and Obama's lack of ANY MEANINGFUL experience, here is my response:

Obama =
Zero experience
Zero new ideas
Zero heartbeats away.

Who wants to vote for this zero?

You know, how many times have we heard someone say, or read someone saying, "we need someone NEW leading the Country, someone from OUTSIDE of Washington, someone like US"? How many times have WE said something like that? How many of the Ron Paul followers said something like that? Or anyone else from any Party, just that they want someone new?

And now we have a chance to have SOMEONE LIKE THAT. And what do we do? We cry and moan like a bunch of school girls that have just been dumped by their latest boyfriend because that......well........THEY ARE SOMEONE NEW WHO IS FROM OUTSIDE OF WASHINGTON.

People need to get a grip and figure out how many times they've said something like that and then vow to never ask for someone new again. I know I will be looking for any such statements by everyone from now on.....
