forced gun insurance
Since they can't take our guns way, md governor moore is trying to pass a law to force gun owners to buy expensive gun insurance. he is trying to make it very expensive buy and own guns and ammo. It sickens me to see our government is opening up the way for criminals to attack people who are forced to be defenseless. and droppped a biden wants everything under lock and key so we can't get em when needed.

Re: forced gun insurance
You can safely bet the farm that someone(s) in baltimore has a piece of the action in that sector & has gotten bribes to author/pitch the bill & will get kickbacks if that flummery is successful.
Those insurance backers are languishing due the onerous monthly premiums..... one I saw was $40+ People are simply not clambering to sign on.....Imagine their windfall/bonanza if tens of thousands of folk paid-up all at once !

.
The underlying reason is to get a REGISTRY started, even if in the hands of the insurers; the government will just force them to release the information under threat of revoking their business license. (one reason the government shouldn't license businesses)

Forcing you to buy insurance in order to exercise your Constitutional rights sounds as illegal as a poll tax to me.

If you must get insurance in order to exercise a right, then it is is no longer a right.Scott Tschirhart wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2024 8:54 am Forcing you to buy insurance in order to exercise your Constitutional rights sounds as illegal as a poll tax to me.

Yep. "Have you got your 'book insurance' updated.....???"
Wouldn't be surprised if they start requiring that too.
