New Star Trek film
It's good. As good as the last one, and worth seeing on the big screen IMO.

Its a good flick. Took the wife and teenage daughter to it this weekend. Saw it on a 62 foot wide screen. Love the visual when Enterprise engages Warp drive!

Marina Sirtis as Counsler Deanna Troi, Star Trek TNG . My friend in Glendale, AZ had the hots for her. I saw her on a couple episodes of NCIS last month as Ziva David's mother. Took me a while to recognize her. She's gotten old. I finally recognized her voice.casastahle wrote:And look like this3leggedturtle wrote:Yeah but are the women hot and in short skirts?
Jolene Blalock as Sub-Commander T'Pol on Star Trek: Enterprise. Ummm, only the hottest Vulcan Star Trek came up with. I'd mind meld with her any dayFriends Call Me Ji wrote:Live long and prosper.
I was talking to my wife yesterday and we discussed the fact that Gene Rodenberry's Star Trek has been a part of our culture now for 47 years.
Personally, I hope it never ends.

Why there's no 7 of 9 picture up here I'll never know. The original series obviously had it all over the late comers as far as the women were concerned.

Lots of pics of Jeri Ryan as the head medical examiner on Body of Proof, but nothing on Seven of Nine. I'm search challenged, I'm sure there's one out there somewhere.

Re: New Star Trek film
It always reminds me of when I was in high school in the 1970's and mini-skirts were 'standard'. It wasn't until thirty years later that I realized how cool that was. I believe females deserve the utmost respect, but like it or not, one of the awesome things God built into the female form was lots of pretty curvaceous and round things, topped off with the round cheeks they get when they smile at you. God is great, and women are beautiful. We put the ones in their 'breeding years' on magazine covers, but take a look at the ones several decades older than that, and when they smile, you'll see a sparkle in the eyes and depth of inner beauty and warmth and strength that is simply awesome; plus, they still have cute little round cheeks when they smile...3leggedturtle wrote:Yeah but are the women hot and in short skirts?

Re: New Star Trek film
Well it's not a Star Trek actor, but this is who I saw live in Vegas, Tuesday nite. I would pass watching Star Trek any day, to watch her. At 47 years old she is hotter than SOOOOOO many women way younger than her.
I agree, she's quite the looker, but is rapidly anti-gun.

Re: New Star Trek film
Me, what are we up too?
I watched the original series in reruns scores of times. Saw every episode of every series (and used to have them on VHS tape), plus all the movies. I really do enjoy the reboot. Got to see the latest one opening weekend (my birthday was a couple days before, and my wife wanted to know what I wanted; I told her I wanted to see the latest Trek movie opening weekend - without interruption!) My wife can't stand sci-fi, and I knew she'd be huffing and sighing if I brought her. The kids enjoyed it though!

We just saw it tonight, we both (wife and I) both really liked it. And yes there is a hot blonde in it, in her undies for a short scene.

Hot chicks aside I really liked this movie!
Even Blondie has enjoyed these movies and she is no Sci-Fi fan.
I hope it's not another four years until the next one but I'm really interested to see
what J.J. Abrams does with the Star Wars franchise!
