Took some pics today of an Egyptian contract roller that I did the metal work on for a friend of mine.
34" Green Mountain barrel chambered in 50-90 Sharps. 1+1/4" full octagon.
Lee Shaver economy soule rear sight and lyman front.
Treebone wood and rear steel buttplate. Made new pivot pins and bushed the firing pin hole to .078"
He is still working on loads so no range report yet

Hi All,
Very nice Rolling Block....should give a life time of shooting.
One of these days, I'll run across a Rolling Block action at a reasonable price, and it will come home with me. I'd love to have a classic like your's sitting in my gun rack.

Very NICE!
I built a #5 into a target gun, never finished inletting and sanding the wood. I finally decided I wasn't gonna do it, and sent it to a friend who will. I hope mine looks half that nice when it comes back

That is a beauty, I've often thought of rebarreling and restocking my 7mm RB to 45-70 but it is a pretty good shooter as is.
Doesn't look anything like that one though. Really nice!
