Made a new holster

Post by mran1126 »

This is the 2nd holster that I've made. It's for my Ruger Vaquero .45. Thought you might like to see it.

I kind of like it. Not too much leather and just different enough to be somewhat unique.

Very nice. I like the simplicity of it. Nice job, you must enjoy working with leather. Is it a 'classic' design or one of your own?

Had to post a picture of the one i made many years ago, i like a holster that rides tight to your side and high.

Very nice - the Bianchi 1L is similar without the fancy lacing.

Very nice looking holster. We may have to start a leverguns leather working association pretty soon.

It's my own design. I just like that general fit and look. Just takes a while to get a good pattern. Fun to design different looking loops and different colored dyes. Thanks for all your comments.

Very nice! I like the simplicity of the design - very classy.

I've got the itch to do some leatherworking, particularly a holster or two. Got to get a 'roundtoit' one day...

Anyone know of a site or source for good patterns?
