You can put most adult male Arabs in one of two catergories: those who hate us and those who are laughing at us.

Tubby, I support America. I just see the Iraq War as the most dangerous thing to happen to America since the Civil War. Yes, more dangerous than Word War II. In that war, our enemies were countries and were finite in number. Now our enemy is an idea and the fanatics who support the idea grow in numb...

This thread got me to thinkin. Me too. Thanks to Griff, I've been on the DGW site doing serious thinkin for two solid hours. I don't like my homemade shot & powder holders for my T-C 12 ga muzzleloader shotgun, so I've been looking at the shot pouches on DGW. I don't like the way they operate p...

Pete44ru gave you some good advice. You should also check around for guys who shoot traditional-style muzzleloaders and go to a shoot. They'd be glad to let you shoot their rifles. If you don't, you might find yourself spending lots of money and even more time on a rifle you don't enjoy shooting.

Ammo, primers, and powder storage depend on where you live, i.e., the temp and humidity. Here in north Louisiana in around 5 years you'd have ruined ammo by storing it in a garage or outside shed. That's the VOE talking. Mine is all in an operating frost-free refrigerator, top and bottom. It stays l...

+2 on ScottT's motion.

I like to muzzleloader squirrel hunt with a 32 Crockett Rifle. After a near attack from a bulldog I now pack a 44 SBH. That dog disappeared soon after my incident, and I suspect he threatened a well-armed deer hunter.

Start with 19 grs, 21 max, of H4198; or 25 grs, 29 max, of H4895. That's according to the Lee manual, and it matches my experience with the 311041 and the C309-170F, both in air cooled wheelweight alloy. Trim your cases. Use a Lee Factory Crimp Die. IME, the AV of groups vary 100 fps with a varied c...

Find the entrance hole. After dark when they're all in the nest throw a cup of gasoline into the hole. DO NOT IGNITE IT. The fumes will settle into all the nooks and crannies and kill them all. After three days, do it again to kill hatched larve.

I would be a little apprehensive about riding around with that brute out there. He appears to be pretty good sized. If he got acclimated to humans and spooked your horse out from under you, you might find yourself face to face with him. It's different knowing you might run into one then knowing one...

I taught my daughter the same thing when she was maybe 8 years old. Every morning they had to line up outside school on a long flight of stairs so they could enter orderly when the bell rang. A boy named James P and who was a couple of years older than Kim, my daughter, always lined up behind her. W...

Guys, last year's problem was severe kidney pain caused by medication, it turned out. The CAT scan showed left kidney damage due to a kidney stroke, believe it or not. I didn't know there was such a thing! (I'm falling apart.) By the way, I'll not (try to) post again on leverguns until they fix it. ...
