Your gun's grouping with a known diameter bullet is giving you the same info as if you slugged the bore first. BTW, if you have some 4227 powder you might be amazed at the velocity increase over L'ilgun you get. jd45

Had one years ago. Wish I still did. They have a sorta-kinda Microgroove rifling. My load was 22GRS H110, mag primer, under a Hornady 265 FP. Grouped into 1-1/2" with iron sights at 100yds off the bench. jd45

I was lucky enough to snag a Uberti 1873 Sporting Rifle several years ago.....pistolgrip buttstock; 24" octagon barrel; & .45 Colt caliber. Put a Lyman globe front & a Marble's tang peep rear sight on it. It's a work of art, & shoots great, too! You can't go wrong with Uberti! jd45

My Lyman Great Plains Hunter with a 1in32 barrel for conicals & sabots will shoot RBs very accurately up to a certain power level.....about 65grs by volume with 777, but beyond that it starts tossin em high & right. jd45
