Prayers sent for a better outcome. My wife had a botched knee surgery, then had 2 more to fix it which were both unsuccessful. Would hate to have something like that happen with eyes. Prayers sent.

Sarge, you hit the nail on the head, and the AR market is a prime example. I hope the market softens on the good levers, but with MARLIN officially out of business all those old JM rifles and carbines will bring a premium. I am just glad I have a few!

About 2 years ago, I was down in El Paso for work for a little over a month. During that time I entertained myself going to check out historic sites and also went to the El Paso Saddlery Shop. Sadly, I was not impressed. The leather workers that I encountered there while they were proficient in doin...

Always buy a doe tag! If you ever have a mature doe that knows her stuff, she will ruin a good hunt quick. YMMV.

My FIL has one. The greatest irritation that I see is the safety. As far as function and shooting, his is accurate and has never misfired. IMO, it would make a good trapline or cheap packing pistol that might save a little wear and tear on a nicer pistol that you dont want to get scratched up in a t...

Skeeter's heavy load was 158 grn bullet with 8.0 grains of Unique for 1400 fps. I typically shoot .38 +p but when I do load .357 mags I use a 140 grain XTP with 7.0 -7.5 grains of Unique. I swear, Kansas has the worst gun seasons around. They start Muzzleloader the last week in SEPT where you are typically fighting nats and mesquitos. It only runs a week, then Bow season opens and runs through the end of the year. They do manage to squeeze 10 days of gun season the first week and a h...

The quality of most guns out on the market today is down overall in general. Most places no longer employ true gunsmiths, but rather focus on one task and they are not even required to master that. I had a m44 made in Hungry. It was 100% original and shot close to MOA at 100 yards 300 yards with iron sights was no problem. It was as a SOLID battle rifle if there ever was one. Pawnshop buy for $70 itd and sold it for $350.

My experience with Jeff Ault with Munden's has been outstanding. He will turn the barrel and sight it in alone or you can get a package deal. The value of a gun that can literally shoot quarters can't be beat.
