Re: Messin' With The Mosin
I sold six of the seven I had and turned that profits into Winchesters . Couldn't resist at these crazy prices of today. FYI beater grade M44's are selling for $600-$700 today and like new ones well over 1K. I kept an original PU SNIPER inspected at Tula (Tulsky) that's late war nearly perfect .Min...

I had a m44 made in Hungry. It was 100% original and shot close to MOA at 100 yards 300 yards with iron sights was no problem. It was as a SOLID battle rifle if there ever was one. Pawnshop buy for $70 itd and sold it for $350.

What forearm is that in your picture? I have an M4 Lower that I am finished with now that needs an upper receiver. Strongly considering the 300 BO but many have said it is a waste of money because 5.56 is cheaper. You have me definitely reconsidering.

I bought a new Moultrie Camera about a month or so ago and went to put it out on the property that I deer hunt last weekend. Check your compression on that cylinder. Possibly needs another coil pack. Curious if a bad cam position sensor could cause that.

It has been a quite a few years ago, but my youngest daughter shot a 9 pt buck with a Marlin 1894 .44 mag. The load was a reduced power handload that was a 200 grain XTP running what I estimated to be 1500 fps and was about a 50 yard shot. He was DRT and never knew what hit him.

I dont buy many jacketed bullets these days. I finally found a good provider that has NICE Lead SWCHP with a low Brinnell Hardness. The alloy is 2-2-96. It takes a while to get your order because they keep such a backlog, but these are the best I have found. https://www.gtbullets.com/index.php?main_...

My experience with Jeff Ault with Munden's has been outstanding. He will turn the barrel and sight it in alone or you can get a package deal. The value of a gun that can literally shoot quarters can't be beat.

YEARS ago, I was deer hunting with my Marlin 336 30-30. I had been ground hunting and came across a deer stand but there was no steps going up to it. Being young, I decided I would shimmy up the tree. I removed the shell in the chamber and started the climb up the tree. I soon decided I needed to ha...

I use GunBroker as an indicator of current price trends. Right now, you don't see any good 30-30 for less than $750 -800. Then after you buy it, at least through GB, you have to pay tax, FFL Fees and Shipping. You could easily spend $100 more. As long as you don't buy plastic guns, you can be pretty...

I recall those articles as well. In fact, I had gotten the order form to purchase and had a .410 shotgun to send in to have a .357 mag barrel headspaced for my receiver. I ended up mis-placing the form and the next thing I knew they announced they were closing shop.

My first rifle was a Marlin 336 in 30-30. I hunted with it from the age of 15 until my late forties at least, killing about 25 deer with it over the years. The furtherest distance was right at 200 yards. Yes, I did have 3 or 4 that walked away but it was pretty much all my fault each time I failed. ...

I would send it to Fermin Garza, you can find him on Facebook. He will map out your cylinder and ensure all the cylinders are uniform and in perfect alignment. Once you know all the throats are the same, you can determine the best bullet diameter. While you are waiting on the cylinder to get back pi...
