I'm no cleaning expert, but I'd suggest you stay away from the vinegar, it is an acid.

Why not try a using Chlorox in place of the vinegar. Start very weak and strengthen the solution until you get the desired results.

Hunting draws ? I typically use Fruit of the Looms in a boxer-brief or some Under Armour cold gear under-draws if its really cold. have you tried the Swiss Blackpowder in FFg or FFFg granulation?

I'm told that it produces less fouling than any other brand of blackpowder. And on top of that, it smells right!

The belt might have cartridge loops, but Griff is right, that hogleg is an M-1851 Navy.

I'd have to dig out my reloading journal to be 100% certain, but IIRC, I used 34.0 grains AA2520 with 125 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip bullets in an old Marlin I used to have. Due to the points, I only loaded two cartridges, one in the chamber and one in the magazine.
