My friend rebarreled a Marlin 1894 44 Mag to 50 AE about 20 years ago. I am not sure if he had to do and modifications to the extractor. It functioned fine.

They offer those services in Wisconsin. They use thermo cameras and are still able to find a heat signature after 24 hours. They can tell by the heat signature if the animal is dead or alive. Lexol conditioner does not discolor leather and is my go to for maintaining leather. I like Black rock if I want it to shed water. I use that on all my saddles, it has a waxy coating.

I stand corrected, the rim size on the 30-40 Krag is the same as the 35 Win. I had it confused with a different brass conversion. Let me know if you can't find any. I can probably part with some 30-40 brass to get you shooting.

I used 30-40 krag brass for mine before I got some from quality cartridge. It is about a 1/10 of an inch too short. I believe the rim was a little big, but just chuck it in a drill press and touch it with a file. I had no problems with the 30-40 brass. The nice thing is that it takes .358 bullets. R...

All big bores have the same thread pitch. The 307 barrel will have the extractor groove at 1 o'clock because it should be angle eject. Most 375's were top ejects so the groove will be at 12 o'clock.
