.348 supplies

Riley's Sports of Hooksett N.H. 603 485-5000 x1 has 75 pieces of .348 brass at $25.00 per 25. Buy all of it. Ask for Ron he can help you. Redding dies are good also get a Lee Factory Crimp Die. Most shooting supply houses will have the dies. 1886.

If one was to imply that I am compulsive well that would be correct but it never hurt me none. In fact I should build guns for a living if I only knew how... Have Fun.... 1886.

muzzle guides

J. Dewey Manufacturing Co. makes great, caliber specific muzzle guides. You can buy them through Midway USA. Cost is about $7.00/ea plus shipping. Consider the least damaging cleaning rod you can find. Midway also has a great selection of cleaning rods as well. I prefer the Tipton brand that is made...

My idea of a plinking target

http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o82/Joi92090/DSCN6277.jpg This is the back view. just imagine it turned around w/ the rear supports in back. One frozen day two years ago I got tired of trying to hammer a heavy duty Birchwood Casey spinner type target into the frozen ground and decided there has ...

length of pull

It is called length of pull I believe. There are many on this forum more knowledgeable than I but if I had to guess I would say 13 1/2". This length seems to be standard in the industry. 1886.

I know its not a levergun but.... I have been enamoured with this combo for a long, long time. Trouble is or was that I could not find one. I guess those that had'em intended to keep'em. Well I solved the problem of finding one. I spoke with Mic Mc. about these rifles and he had nothing but praise f...

Congrats! I bought one a couple of years ago in .475. I had a factory action job and the black micarta grips installed. Jack Huntington has it in his shop now. He is shortening the barrel to 5" and giving it a bead blast finish. The gun is more accurate than I can usually shoot. Best of Luck. 1...

My latest find

Hello to everyone. Its been awhile. I bought a NIB Browning 1886 SRC .45-70 Nat. Forests Centennial Model 1891-1991, 1 of 2000. Did not know they made such a thing. Only a couple of slight storage marks on butt stock. Rifle is unfired and box is in fair/pretty good condition. No safety. I researched...
