When I was a kid there was no Sanibel causeway, if you wanted to get onto the island you had to take the ferry from Punta Rassa to the Island. I wonder if they'll go back to that concept for the short term.

I have used Google maps to keep track of country roads in heavy fog. The fog was so thick it was the only way I could keep from driving past my turn off.

When I went through the police academy back in the middle 70's someone showed me then to use "Testor's" model paint on my front sight. I use TRAFFIC YELLOW since it stands out against everything. Two coats usually takes care of it.

I watched Nick Walinda as he was setting up for a high wire walk at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa. As he was setting his rigging he kept tying and tying knot after knot, he smiled and looked at the camera and said if you can't tie good make sure you tie a lot. He's about as professional as they come.

If you go to the Graybeard's outdoor forums there is a section there sponsored by LBT molds and Veral Smith. Veral says that the Ruger SS revolvers take about twice as many slugs to fireform the bore as anything else due to the hardness of the steel.
